The earliest New Zealand watch that Terry can specifically date is a sterling silver hunter watch with a hallmark dating to 1866, engraved with \u201cA. Myers Princes St., Dunedin.\u201d<\/p>\n
Most of these displayed are jewellery and watch retailers, however some merchant companies, like Aitken and Roberts Ltd, Christchurch, also have their own customised watches. Interestingly there is a \u201cPakeha\u201d watch dial.<\/p>\n
